Subaru Outback is Packed with Safety Features

Subaru equips every Outback with its EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. The base version features a set of dual color cameras placed near the review mirror that constantly scan the road. The more advanced version of this technology features three cameras for better pedestrian and cyclist detection. When EyeSight detects danger in your driving path, it can reduce power to the engine, giving you more time to respond.

The technologies included in EyeSight Technology include adaptive cruise control with lane centering, lane departure and sway warning, pre-collision braking, automatic emergency steering and pre-collision throttle management. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the 2025 Subaru Outback a five-star safety rating.
