Hi, I’m Suby the dealership cat. I was rescued in December of 2017 from behind the dumpster at the dealership. I like to be pet and played with but I don’t like to be held very much. Follow me on social media @SubySchulteSubaru.
What do you love about working for Subaru?
I have the pleasure of rekindling some old relationships. The dynamics of the sales staff and service advisors creates a synergy that is fun to be apart of.
What is one thing on your bucket list?
Playing golf on the Old Course at St. Andrews. On the way to the UK, I’ll stop in Iceland to see the landscape and maybe a relative or two.
What are your hobbies and how did you get into them?
I enjoy most sports. Golf is probably on the top of my list. I started playing golf with my grandpa in 1970. I also really enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
What do you love about working for Subaru?
The vibe! We do things different here. Happy, honest, nice! That’s who we are and why I joined the team.
What is one thing on your bucket list?
I would love to go to Tokyo someday. Experience a completely different culture and see the beautiful landscapes.
What are your hobbies and how did you get into them?
Too many to list, but the short version is, I’ve been a collector all my life. I collect it all! Movies, games, comics, cards. I truly specialize in celebrity/actor autographs.
I personally drank the Subaru Kool-Aid back in 2009 when I purchased my first of 5 Subaru’s from Schulte Subaru. It’s hard to describe the energy and feeling I got as soon as I entered the dealership. Everyone was always very friendly and helpful through each of my car deals. Even when I would come in for simple maintenance I got the feeling that they were genuinely happy to see me and wanted to help. I have been in sales most of my adult life, so I naturally gravitated towards a sales position here because of the passion towards Subaru and general vibe I felt as a customer at the dealership. Previously, I worked as a general manager of a jewelry store for over 8 years before taking my position at Schulte Subaru.
My wife, Reina, and I have 9 year old twins (boy and girl) named Paxton and Piper. My free time not spent with my family usually goes towards video games. Many of the employees at Schulte are friends inside and outside of work. We have a pretty good sized group that plays games together religiously.
I have worked for Schulte Subaru for just over 5 years. My favorite part about working here is the people and relationships I have built throughout the sales process. Buying a car from Schulte is unlike anything you have experienced anywhere else in the auto industry. It’s easy, quick and actually fun buying a car. I would love the opportunity to earn your business if I haven’t already. Please feel fry to stop in and say hi or let me know if I can help in any way.
One of my main hobbies is track racing my Subaru STI. I also have dirt bikes and ATV’s to enjoy the outdoors. I am active in many sports and enjoy family time.
I enjoy being outside; boating and playing sports with my kids is the best. I have two boys and two girls so we stay busy with all of their activities. I also enjoy watching college and professional football.
Some of my hobbies are fishing, golfing, playing cards and riding motorcycles. I am an avid Minnesota Vikings and Florida Seminoles football fan. My entire family drives Subaru’s. Jodi, my wife, drives a Subaru Legacy; Kelsey, my daughter, drives a Subaru Legacy; Austin, my son, drives a Subaru Impreza; and I drive a Subaru XV Crosstrek.
What do you love about working for Subaru?
I love helping customers find the right vehicle for them. It totally is about interacting with them, building a long term relationship and helping them in their life 🙂
What is one thing on your bucket list?
I would love to go to Glacier National Park. I have thought about it for years. It would be so nice to take the family and just enjoy one of God’s beautiful creations.
What are your hobbies and how did you get into them?
I have fished and hunted all of my life. My dad started me at a young age and now I am passing it on to my kids. I also enjoy bowling. Both of my parents were Olympian bowlers so it is cool to try to keep the legacy going.
Spending quality time with my family is my favorite thing to do. My wife, Carin, and I have four children; Jordyn, Rylee, Carter, and Harper. We stay busy with all of the activities the kids are involved in. I have been part of the Schulte Automotive Group for 30 years.
