An Overview of the 2024 Subaru Ascent

The 2024 Subaru Ascent is the largest SUV from the brand’s extensive lineup, and it comes with three rows of seating. A maximum of eight people can fit in the cabin, but you can choose a seven-passenger variation if you opt for a model with second-row captain’s chairs.

The Ascent offers plenty of storage with up to 75.6 cubic feet of cargo space. There’s also a roof rail system that secures bikes, kayaks, and luggage.

High-level performance comes from the SUV’s 2.4-liter turbocharged engine that produces 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. The brand’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive System optimizes traction on various surfaces. There’s also a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds, but the lower-tier trims will trailer 2,000 pounds.

Numerous technologies are available in the new Ascent, starting with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also an 11.6-inch touchscreen that displays your media, podcasts, and maps.
