Schulte Subaru helps Harvey's Victims

Schulte Subaru of Sioux Falls is also offering Hurricane Harvey victims a helping hand.

Several team members spent Tuesday afternoon loading up three big trailers full of water, flashlights, and more at Costco. They will haul the donations down to a Subaru dealership in Beaumont, TX for distribution.

Organizers said they love the opportunity to provide some hands-on help.

"The core belief behind Subaru is kindness, caring, and love, and helping community, even though they're all the way down there," Mike Schulte said. "We're lucky up here to not have been involved in that disaster, so we just feel like we need to give back. It's the right thing to do."

Six employees started their journey bright and early Wednesday morning, driving straight on through to Texas.

Share the Love  Check Presentation

  Sioux Falls Humane Society is the largest non-kill humane society is the state working everyday to provide a safe environment for animals in need. This year (2015) Schulte Subaru is very pleased to have raised and presented $40,000 to Sioux Falls Humane Society as a part of the Subaru Share the Love Event. This gift has been used for many needed items, food, medical, and general care, so they may continue their mission of "Providing a safe haven and human voice for all animals in needs."

 

WIN a Car and help The Children's Home Society

  March 31, 2016 Schulte Subaru held a drawing for a 2015 Impreza Sport with the proceeds designated to The Children's Home Society of South Dakota who serve over 2,000 children each year with treatment, education, foster care & adoption services and so much more. Schulte Subaru along with The Sioux Falls Morning Optimists club were very pleased to present a check to The Children's Home Society for $10,000.
